I taught myself by learning to draw flowers and plants which then lead to me drawing clothing and portraits. I have had artwork displayed in local galleries as well as further afield.
My inspiration for my own work comes from nature and the female form. This is where my faceless women came from. I want you to look at the whole drawing not just the face and so by removing that it gives it a very different feel than just another portrait. Custom pictures are becoming very popular and something I enjoy doing. Taking 5 or 6 pictures of a subject and creating an unusual one off piece of work. These drawings make great gift ideas.
