Refund and Returns Policy
Each seller has their own refund / exchange policy which is outlined on each of their listings. Best Handmade is a community of talented crafters, who specialise in making handmade items.
Upon receipt of your order, you will receive an email with the contact details of the seller responsible for your order, your order number and order receipt.
We have a 30-day return policy except for made to order shoes and goods which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. You must inform of your intent to return within 14 working days of receipt for all the brands within our domain.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers cannot be returned. Downloadable items such as digital images / photos are also non-refundable.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
How to return your product?

To return your product, you should send your product to the address provided by the independent seller.
You are responsible for paying the return shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
If you are returning items worth more than £50, we recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. This is because we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like handmade to order items such as shoes and personalised or bespoke goods.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. However we endeavour to fulfil exchanges within 10 working days.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Alternatively, you can return your item to the seller for exchange by contacting them directly to arrange and agree this.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
