Description
I have created an original piece of art combining watercolour and found items. The scene is Llanrhystud Beach on the Ceredigion Coast path and is part of the Heritage Coast a little south of Aberysywyth, The view is looking north from a now partially submerged wooden structure. This may be remains of a landing area associated with the nearby derelict lime kilns
The background is watercolour and in the foreground the beach is added in 3D using small driftwood pieces, assorted pebbles and gravel and pieces of seaweed found on the beach.
The piece is mounted in a white box frame.
External measurements – 24cm square x 3cm deep
Aperture measurement – 20cm square
As this is an original piece of art there will never be another one quite like it.
